Parking in Paulinenstraße and Kaisersruherstraße is free of charge. If there is no parking on the street, we offer a space in front of our double garage (green). We will be happy to show you:

We are usually at home, so just ring the bell (downstairs, the apartment has its own bell).

If we are not at home, we will arrange access to the apartment individually.

It would be helpful for us to know the approximate time of arrival.

The wooden floor in the apartment is oiled, easy to clean and will become more beautiful with time. Please make sure that no liquids remain on the floor for a long time. Should a mishap occur (e.g. a spilled red wine), wipe up the liquid immediately and then wipe with a damp cloth. You will find a cleaning cloth and bowl under the sink. In an emergency, you can also use towels; we will be happy to provide you with new ones. Damp or wet cloths must not be left on the floor for hours. This causes bruises! (in the wood).

There are switchable sockets in both bedrooms and on the balcony. If some sockets or switches do not work, please check the wall switches. In the bedrooms, the first two sockets on the back wall can be switched via the lower (double) switches.

If the tap is dripping, then maybe it's the ghost of my deceased aunt . Don't worry, she was very nice. Or maybe it's the drip protection on our low-pressure water heater that doesn't really work. It's mysterious.

You have a three-compartment garbage can under the sink for

• compost
• yellow bag
• residual waste

If you want to separate paper and cardboard, use a cardboard box

If you want to get rid of the garbage in between, simply put the bags on the first floor in the hallway. We are also happy to explain where we put the garbage (residual waste garbage can, paper waste garbage can, green garbage can, composter).

Please ventilate well after showering by opening the window wide for a few minutes (do not just tilt it).

Make sure that no puddles remain on the wooden floor. Wiping the floor is enough, it dries quickly. If you run out of towels, we will be happy to provide you with new ones. It's a lot less work for us than having to sand down the floor

There are electrically adjustable slatted frames here.

The TV has active speakers that may need to be switched on, otherwise there will be no sound.

The remote control likes to disappear by itself. Between stimulus („Sh.. remote control is gone!“) and reaction ( ), a simulated blissful grin can pave the way to finding it again

On the shelf you will find LAN cables to connect your computer to the network.

There is a hand-operated awning on the balcony. If it gets wet, please leave it extended to dry. If it is windy, the awning must be retracted, otherwise the apartment will fly away .

The sockets on the balcony only work if they are switched on inside next to the balcony door.

There is a clothes horse for the balcony railing on the kitchen cupboard.

Enjoy the constantly changing „skies of wonder“ - with luck you can watch deer in the field at dusk.

A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in the basement if required. There are washing lines both in the cellar room and outside in the garden. We will be happy to show you how everything works.

The box in the apartment that looks like a fuse box is for the LAN. If you have problems with the Internet via cable, we will be happy to help you.

The fuse box for the electricity is located one floor up in the attic.

• Cup of coffee (or another drink) in our kitchen - to get to know each other
• Herbs from the garden (depending on the season, what's on offer)
• if you need coffee, tea or milk, a clove of garlic or an onion, please ask

• It would be helpful for us to know the approximate departure time.
• Leaving the rooms swept clean helps you not to forget anything.
• Just put the garbage bags on the first floor in the hallway.
• We are happy to collect the room keys personally (or we can arrange something else).
